I am building a feel-good mental health education tool
I am building something cool!
The story started here: I built two startups in mental health education between 2012 and 2024. After that, I collaborated as an advisor with 11 educational and wellness startups (all in 2024). At the beginning of this year (now it’s August 2025), I felt motivated to build a new tool to make mental health education feel good. Imagine Inside Out. It was fun to watch, and learning about our emotions was the byproduct.
To test the idea, I started simple. I built shops on TPT and Etsy and published printable games, puzzles, activities, and beautiful worksheets. I sold a lot (and we are still selling). Around 300 products monthly, all organically. That told me there is a real need.
Then I talked to 50 people in the industry. I shared what I had done and asked for their advice and feedback. They helped me a lot. After those conversations, I decided to focus on what I call cool educators.
What do I mean by cool educators? Heart-led, aesthetic teachers, social workers, therapists, counselors, and parents who put love and care into their work. They decorate their learning environments, care about details, and want learning to feel good.
We (I have an in-house team: a product designer, a developer, and a content creator) designed a light prototype. Now I am in the phase of talking with 50 teachers, social workers, counselors, therapists, and homeschool parents. My goal is to become the feel-good mental health educational assistant for 10 of them (free, of course). Every week I will ask what they need and prepare it carefully. That way we build what people actually use, not what I guess they might use.
At the same time, I am building my support circle. What is that? A must-have for an entrepreneur. It is a group of friends and people who want you to become successful in the current project. They check in with you, connect you with the right people, and brainstorm with you. These are mostly other builders in the same industry and a few friends. I am also in the support circle of other entrepreneurs. It really takes a village to build something.
What I need now:
1- Connect me with more aesthetic educators. I want to talk and learn with them, and maybe I can be their free feel-good mental health education assistant.
2- Be part of my support circle. If you think what I am building is good and I am doing it right, or almost right, then let’s have a conversation.
